DESCRIPTION

RESPeRATE is a medical device indicated for the adjunctive treatment of hypertension. The device utilizes a patented Interactive Respiratory-Pacing technology to reduce sympathetic neural activity and relax the muscles surrounding the small blood vessels, leading to a sustained reduction in blood pressure.

Pooled data from 7 separate clinical studies show an average high blood pressure reduction of 14/8 mmHg within 8 weeks of using the device. There were no side effects and no interactions with existing medications. The reductions were significant over control (P<0.005/0.002) and were in addition to those achieved through other hypertension therapies, including medications.

Please note:   Although RESPeRATE does not require a prescription, it should only be used as part of the patient's overall health program for achieving goal blood pressure, as recommended by a physician.
