Abseiling cliffs, overlooking Camps Bay, Cape Town, Table Mountain Abseiling is the controlled descent down a rope. Climbers use this technique when a cliff or slope is too steep and/or dangerous to descend without protection. Camps Bay is an affluent suburb of Cape Town. In the summer it attracts a large number of foreign visitors, as well as South Africans, looking for a beach holiday. It is renowned for its white sandy beaches fringed by palm trees, and has a trendy nightlife.
