Hogsback, Eastern Cape province

The Hogsback area is known for indigenous forests, waterfalls and trout fishing.

This village, high up on the Amatola mountains and surrounded by centuries-old indigenous Afro-montane forests, has a dramatic natural beauty, surrounded by mountains, escarpment and several waterfalls.

Hogsback has a number of magnificent gardens, with exotic plants from Australia, Europe, North America, the Himalayas, China and Japan.
